Daniel R. Gunnell
President & CEO

• Mr. Gunnell has fifteen years of experience in the oil and gas industry primarily focused in Utah and Texas.

• Mr. Gunnell has negotiated joint ventures and/or acquisitions/divestitures with many industry leaders such as Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC), Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), Encana Corporation (NYSE:ECA), Talisman (NYSE:TLM), PetroCanada-Suncor (NYSE:SU), Patara Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE:SWN), Fidelity Exploration and Production Company (NYSE:MDU), Clayton Williams Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:CWEI), Petro-Hunt, LLC, Yates Petroleum, Armstrong Oil and Gas, H&L Operating, Laddex Ltd, and Dewbre Petroleum.

• In 2002 Mr. Gunnell founded Liberty Pioneer Energy Source, Inc. and has operated over 100 oil and gas wells in Texas and Utah.

• Mr. Gunnell is a graduate of Brigham Young University. While at BYU he also completed graduate level geology course work and participated in varsity athletics. Mr. Gunnell is involved in non-profit humanitarian work and serves as a board member of Mentors International, which does micro-credit finance in third world countries. 

Kimball E. Hodges
Vice President & CFO

• Mr. Hodges experience in the oil and gas industry runs throughout the Rocky Mountains and the Gulf Coast states over the past fifteen years.

• Over the past 15 years he played a key role in leasing and acquiring more than 1,000,000 acres of mineral rights in Texas, Utah, Colorado and Montana orchestrating a team of 15 landmen and negotiating with the State and BLM agencies.

• Mr. Hodges oversees operations and was key in securing contracts with companies such as Halliburton Co., Schlumberger, Patterson- UTI Energy, Inc., Key Energy Services, Inc., Nabors Drilling, Frontier Drilling, Weatherford International, Coiled Tubing Services and many others.

• In a recent acquisition, he was able to reduce operating costs by 30% while increasing production by 20%.

• He also has a background in Finance and Geology which stems from training at Brigham Young University Idaho and Boise State University.
